Gluten Free Pizza is one of my family’s favorites. I love to make it from scratch. This way I know exactly what is going in my food. My local restaurants don’t use organic ingredients and I do. More individuals and families are jumping on the path of organic foods overall. We try our best to purchase organic every time we shop. When I make our homemade pizza I use organic gf flours. You can easily use premade gf flour that has the zanthum gum already in it too. I like to put gluten free pepperoni (non-gmo) and organic homemade sauce with veggies and a little cheese. Below are the recipes I use for the crust and the pizza sauce. Super simple to create a healthy organic homemade meal for yourself and family.
Gluten Free Pizza Crust (Makes 2 crusts)
3 Cups Gluten Free Flour Mix (organic)
4 Tbs Dried yeast
1 Tsp White sugar
2 Tsp Xanthan gum or gar gum
1 1/4 Tsp Salt
1 1/4 Cup warm water
2 Tbs Oilive oil
2 Tsp Cider vinegar or regular white vinegar
In a large bowl mix all the dried ingredients together, mix well. Add all wet ingredients, mix well. Let sit for about 5 minutes than separate into two balls. Roll dough on well floured board or parchment paper into desired shape f pizza. Make sure to use the gluten free flour mix for rolling it out if your gluten free. Add favorite pizza sauce and toppings. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until done. Keep an eye on your pizza.
1 – 16 ounce can Organic tomato sauce
1 drop each of Thyme, Rosemary, Oregano, Black Pepper essential oils
1/4 Tsp of Granulated garlic and salt
A little olive oil.
In a small bowl pour the tomato sauce in the bowl, add all the ingredients above and stir well. Pour half on each pizza crust.
